The role of our Academy program is to provide an outstanding training and competitive environment for the top male players in our club, in our state, and in our region. The Academy will offer inspiration to our players and the influx of ideas to our coaching staff.

The club asks that Academy coaches and players represent the club in an exemplary manner on and off the field. The club intends that the six Academy age groups will create a culture of excellence and respect, and that the staff will create continuity—and a “family” atmosphere—among the staff, the players, and the families. With the extra attention afforded to Academy players, the club expects that the program will help enable individuals to reach their potential and to prepare them for the next step as players. The target goals are to help players achieve full National Team and Youth National Team participation, professional opportunities, and the ability to compete at top universities. Finally, we expect our Michigan Wolves Academy teams to promote the club’s style of play and to demonstrate a high level of integrity while competing with the top youth soccer clubs in the country.
The Michigan Wolves Academy logo offers continuity with the Wolves-Hawks club as a whole, while also introducing elements that are unique to this specific program. The name, Michigan Wolves Academy, refers to the six teams that compete in the US Soccer Development Academy at the U12, U13, U14, U15, U17, and U19 age groups. The number “74” refers to the year that the Michigan Wolves-Hawks Soccer Club was founded. The outline of the state of Michigan in the background demonstrates our roots and makes the statement that we are proud to represent all corners of our state as we compete at the highest level of youth soccer in the country. Finally, each of the five stars represents a National Championship won by a Michigan Wolves team. The larger highlighted star refers to our US Soccer Development Academy National Championship, won by the U16 Wolves in 2009.

A TRADITION OF EXCELLENCE
The Michigan Wolves-Hawks Soccer Club has entered into a 25 year agreement with Schoolcraft College, to build an indoor Multi-Sport Dome adjacent to an outdoor competition turf soccer field and on-site office space that we will now call our exclusive home. This is now the best training and playing opportunity in Michigan.
