 The 2010 National Camp hosted 6 Hawks players this summer. The Hawks 96 were represented by Megan Buckingham and Rilka Noel. The Hawks 97 were represented by Cassie Phillips, Nicole Zuckerman, Kate Morris, and Courtney Petersen. Check out the article that U.S. Soccer emailed out to its members:

U.S. Soccer U-14 Girls’ National Development Program ID Camp includes 13 past id² participants

The U.S. Soccer U-14 Girls’ National Development Program ID Camp included the top female players from around the country born in 1996 and 1997. A total of 13 id² participants were invited to Portland for the girls’ camp, which will be used to select 36 players for a U.S. Soccer U-14 Training Camp Sept. 18-25 in Carson, Calif.

Congratulations to the U11 Wolves who were the Rush Kick-Off Classic Champions on August 15, 2010. The first match was against Force FC Black (6:1), then a 6:4 win against Northville Rush Nike, the third win against Phoenix Orange (8:3) put the Wolves into the Final Match. The Championship match against Waza FC Genessee 00 Royal was a 6:1 win to finish the tournament with a 26:9 record.

Fall 2010 Technical Training is free of charge for Wolves & Hawks players,
 
It includes half an hour of technical training then one hour playing 3v3 or 4v4,
 
U9-U12 Wolves and Hawks attend from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm,
 
U13 and up attend from 6:30 to 8:00 pm,
 
Training will be on Fridays at Jaycee Park, starting Aug. 20 and ending Oc.t 15,
 
Dates: Aug  20, 27; Sep 10,17,24; Oct 1, 8, 15.
 
Coach Sam is hoping to see everyone there.

While the Hawks hosted a weekend of Friendlies at Total Soccer on August 7-8,  the Wolves were busy at ODP Tryouts. Congratulations to all of our players that were chosen for the State Pool.  Coach Sam Cheaib was very proud and pleased with his U13 Wolves players. Between the 97 younger pool and the 98 older pool he had 15 players chosen for the ODP training pools.
