Dennis Darnoi started out playing in New Jersey for the Monmouth Sting from 1980 to 1987. He played for his High School Christian Brothers Academy from 1983 to 1987. During his youth he played on the New Jersey State ODP Team, the Eastern Regional Select Team and the US Olympic Team Pool. He attended The University of the South in Tennessee from 1987 to 1991 and graduated with a Philosophy/ Political Science BA. While attending the University of the South he was MVP in the 1987 All CAC awards and hold the individual record for the most assists (15) in a season (1989). He moved to Washington DC to further his studies and played in a men’s league from 1991-1997.
